This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your personal information in connection with our web-based WhatsApp chatbot product, Chasebot, and related services (the "Service"), including integrations with Google Calendar.

Important Note: This Service is subject to our separate Terms and Conditions. This Privacy Policy forms an integral part of your use of the Service.

1. Information We Collect

  • Account Information: Name, email address, business WhatsApp number, and billing details.
  • Usage Data: Log files, IP address, browser type, chatbot interactions, messages sent/received, and metadata.
  • Contact Data: Phone numbers of message recipients you upload or interact with via the Service.
  • Calendar Data (Google Calendar): When you enable Google Calendar integration, we may access, read, and write your calendar data (such as events, titles, times, attendees) based on the permissions you grant.
  • User-Generated Content: Prompts, instructions, or training materials you provide to customize the AI chatbot.

2. Google Calendar Integration

Our Service offers integration with Google Calendar to enable features such as automated scheduling, appointment reminders, or event synchronization based on chatbot interactions. When you connect your Google Calendar account:

  • We request specific permissions (scopes) necessary to view, create, and edit your calendar events.
  • We use calendar data solely to provide the requested features (e.g., creating a new appointment when a customer selects a time via the chatbot).
  • We do not share your calendar data with any third parties except as required to operate the Service (e.g., via Google's API) or if required by law.
  • Calendar data retrieved from Google API is subject to Google's Privacy Policy, and you may revoke access at any time through your Google account settings.

Our use of Google Calendar complies fully with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

4. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
  • To process transactions and manage your account.
  • To enable Google Calendar integration features as you instruct.
  • To train and refine AI models based on aggregated data (without directly identifying individuals).
  • To communicate with you about updates, billing, and technical support.
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

5. Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We may share your information with:

  • Third-Party Service Providers: Cloud infrastructure, payment processors, analytics providers, and AI platforms.
  • Third-Party Platforms: WhatsApp (Meta), Google (for Calendar), and other APIs you enable.
  • Legal Compliance: If required by law or valid court order, or to protect our rights, property, or safety.

Third-party providers are only permitted to use your data as necessary to provide services to us and are obligated to maintain confidentiality.

6. Data Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data (such as encryption, access controls, and regular audits). However, no system is completely secure. You acknowledge that transmission of data over the internet and storage by third parties (including WhatsApp and Google) carries inherent risks beyond our control. We are not liable for breaches caused by your system vulnerabilities, third-party providers, or force majeure events.

7. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Calendar data from Google Calendar is stored only as long as necessary to provide the related features, and you may disconnect the integration at any time.
